Surf, Sun and Volcanoes

The silent ancient volcanoes look on, as the waves roll in from the ocean.

It's hard to believe that there could be anywhere more beautiful to learn how to surf.

It's also hard to imagine that there could be anyone more fun to learn to surf with than with Aldo. Aldo, our surfing instructing runs his school, Epic Lanzarote Surf, Kite and SUP (stand up paddle) School from the beautiful outstretched beach of Famara on Lanzarote Island.

I've always admired surfers; the way they flow with the waves and glide across the surface so gracefully. So naturally, learning to surf has always been something that I've wanted to do.
